The World Environment Day, 20 June 2009

For the second consecutive year, under the auspices of the Ministry of State for Environmental Affairs and in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, the BA Planetarium Science Center (PSC) will organize the World Environment Day (WED) 2009 in Alexandria on 20 June 2009. WED2009 will take place at the BA Plaza, which will be divided into four zones: the Environmental Activity Zone, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Zone, the Exhibition Zone and the Community Zone. The event is open to the public and is a unique opportunity to learn more about environment and climate change, meet new people, share ideas, and participate in a variety of activities and contests.
